Heart Transplant Surgery
As the name suggests, heart transplant surgery is a surgery to remove the diseased heart from a person and replace it with a healthy heart which might have been received from an Organ donor, where the donor should be declared brain dead.
This is generally done for persons with end-stage heart failure, where the heart completely weakens and fails to pump blood normally.
