It is a form of drug therapy mainly involving chemical drug therapy that tends to destroy the rapidly developing cancer cells in the body as they usually grow and multiply faster than other cells. Chemotherapy is more often used in combination with surgery such as tumor excision, radiation and in some cases even hormone therapy
