An ACL reconstruction is a procedure that is done to replace a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). ACL is a major ligament of the knee. In this procedure, the torn ligament is removed and replaced with a tendon from some other part of the knee or in some cases from a deceased donor. My day to day life started to hamper, due to unbearable back pain and painful limbs. I was scared of surgery as I have never been admitted in a hospital ever before in my life.
